Design precision. Construction clarity.
Remote-ready for Australian & US teams.
A licensed architect with real construction experience β from drawings to live sites. I bridge design and delivery: takeoffs, coordination, documentation, and project admin β AEST-aligned from Cebu.
I'm a licensed Architect (UAP) based in Talisay City, Cebu, Philippines β with a background spanning architectural design, construction coordination, project management, quantity estimating, and client-facing virtual assistance.
My ~2 years at VIA Design Partners as Junior Architect and Project Coordinator gave me real construction experience: producing full drawing sets, coordinating with contractors and consultants, managing project documentation, and running estimation workflows using Bluebeam Revu and PlanSwift. I worked across interior fitouts, residential, and commercial project types from design development through to site supervision.
I've also held an account and client management role at a talent management agency β handling onboarding, communication, and account coordination. Skills that translate directly into remote VA and project admin support.
I operate on PHT (UTC+8), which naturally aligns with Australian Eastern Standard Time business hours, making me a practical remote partner for Australian and US construction firms.
Competition entries, award nominations, and thesis projects β each with full drawing sets, renders, and design documentation. Click any project to see the full detail.
Kasilyas reimagines the open-air, naturally illuminated bathrooms of rural Cebu for the urban setting. The shower area acts as a mini lightwell β drawing daylight deep into the space. White polished marble walls bounce light to keep the bathroom bright without artificial lighting during the day.
Natural sunlight doubles as a passive antiseptic, sanitizing the bathroom through UV exposure. This is complemented by American Standard touchless fixtures that minimize hand contact with surfaces, reducing bacterial spread.
Multi-generational accessibility features β grab bars, a stepping stool for children, and a fold-down shower chair for the elderly β are integrated without disrupting the clean aesthetic.
Ambulances from Southern Cebu take 2β3 hours to reach the nearest general hospital β a critical infrastructure gap that costs lives. Tagboanan (Bisaya for "point of convergence") proposes a Level 2 General Hospital in Moalboal, serving both the east and west sides of Southern Cebu.
The faΓ§ade shading system draws from bamboo weaving β a traditional craft of Southern Cebu. On the front elevation, the woven patterns cross diagonally to symbolize the convergence of communities. The bamboo motif extends to the emergency wing. Community members would participate in producing the bamboo components, embedding the hospital into local social fabric.
Hamudlay β Bisaya for leisure or relaxation β merges water and mountain adventure into one cohesive destination. Three Bisaya vernacular themes drive the design: bahay sa puno (resort hotel), bahay na bato (guest houses), bahay kubo (beach cottages).
Site planning uses rectilinear and curvilinear forms to echo how human settlement organically coexists with natural terrain. The eastern zone handles beach activities, the central zone handles public amenities, and the western zone handles mountain adventure β reserved for future expansion.
51 Ati households occupy 8,000 sqm of public land in coastal Barangay South Poblacion, Naga. Balay Ing'ato (combining "ing-ato" β like that over there β and "ato" β ours) emulates Ati housing motifs from their ancestral domain in Aklan while fostering ownership in Naga City.
